Nomura Preschool begins to lay the foundations of learning readiness and social interaction in our toddler classrooms. In these classes, our two and young three-year-olds focus on social (i.e. – playing, sharing, following directions, etc.) and self-help skills in a warm and encouraging environment. Children, teachers, and parents participate in potty-training exercises to help the little ones learn to stay dry all day!
Music is an important part of the toddlers’ day. Sharing songs and story time poems, with creative movement, is a great way for children to express themselves, develop spacial awareness, improve gross motor skills, and discover pitch and rhythm. A specialist teacher visits the class twice a week to provide enrichment music classes.
Indoor and outdoor play centers provide an abundance of learning opportunities for these young students. In this first class at Nomura Preschool, children have fun learning and it shows!
